I am a 25 year old female who gets frequent colds and upper respiratory illness, both bacterial and viral. Additionally, I lose my voice (acute laryngitis) at least 3-4 times a year and have frequent ear infections (3 times a year or so). Would a tonsillectomy help with the reoccurring illness or are the tonsils unrelated?
Hi Mam, I have gone through your query; and for your kind information there are many causes of the recurrent laryngitis and tonsillitis also a one of the main cause of this condition. There for tonsillectomy may be helpful in your condition.
Thanks
