Suggest Treatment For Acute Pain While Treating Kidney Stones

My wife is having acute pain some times because of stone in her kidney about 4 mm ...what should be the imidiate measures to avoid acute pain when it happens...she is otherwise taking medicines for the same but some times she is subjected to acute pain

Hello,

It is due to stone itself.

As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

Drink plenty of water as it will help to flush of the stone from the body. The size of the stone is very small and thus surgical removal is not required.
