Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

I can understand your concern. First of all I'd like to reassure you that masturbation is not a bad thing. If done in limited frequency it is safest mode to get gratification. It is not at all associated with loss of potency, fertility or general health. So try to relax your self and don't remain in guilty that you are doing wrong. But excess of anything is bad. Excess masturbation using pornographic materials results in loss of huge time that should be spent in studies or in outdoor activities. This results in social withdrawal and lack of social skills. So this is the reason you are having problems in studies, memory and also in controlling the thoughts.

Excess masturbation has probably resulted in anxiety and stress. First of all divert your attention away from any porn materials. This will help in reducing the frequency of masturbation. Give at least one hour daily to outdoor plays or to exercise. This would help to boost mood by secreting endorphins. Have healthy food and try to interact with friends instead of sitting alone in room and doing masturbation. If even after that you fail to control the thoughts of masturbation please consult a counsellor. A good psychological counselling would help in reducing the undesired habit and you will see improvement.

Thanks, Hope this helps you. Take care
