Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My mother had adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC) in her tongue 19 yrs ago, she had surgery/radiation and was symptom free until recently ACC was found in both her lungs (5 and 3 cm) and in her nymph node. She is 76 yr old, surgery and radiation are not an option. From my reading, ACC is not sensitive to chemo? Can you give me any advices? Much appreciated. -John
