Suggest Treatment For After Cataract Surgery Complications
I have had cataract surgery in one eye and have a toric IOL. Since surgery when I go outside I feel confused like the ground is on higher level some people appear small in height etc...likewearing someone s glasses and walking. It has been about 3 weeks post surgery. I have nonoperated cataract in other eye. How long will it take fortyesesymptoms to go away. Thank you
Normally the stabilization of vision after cataract surgery may take 6-8 weeks. Hence, you should wait for this period for stabilization of vision. Also, as your other eye is still having cataract, hence gross difference in the refraction of both eyes may also cause this type of symptoms.
Otherwise also, though vision including acuity of vision, usually improves dramatically after cataract surgery, still a minor refraction error may still be there and you need near glasses or minor correction of vision by corrective glasses may be required in some cases.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
