Suggest Treatment For Aggressive Behavior While Having Anxiety
I am extremely angry with a co-worker for having someone fired because he and I are friends (I am a female ). I hve intense urges to smash his head through a wall. I also have intense urges to kill him. I just ignore him and only speak to him when its a matter of work. Just the sound of his stupid voice pisses me off. I am currently taking Zoloft 100 mg for anxiety but it has a slight calming effect on me. Should I take a stronger dose or some other medication. Also, I often have dreams of killing someone. Please help.
Hi Thanks for posting on HCM Zoloft is a good anti-depressant with a wide range of psychiatric uses. For post traumatic stress, panic or social anxiety disorders, doses as high as 200mg may be prescribed by your Doctor but not more. However, i will not encourage you to take it at that dose.I will rather advise you see your prescribing Doctor for re-evalaution.He may choose to adjust the dose or change to a different group of anti-depressant. Hope my answer will help you Best regards
