Hi,

Your husband needs to learn alternate and healthier methods of coping with stress so that he does not take to alcohol whenever there is any problem. Sharing his problems with you and other family members will also help him cope better. However, he first needs to accept that he has a problem with alcohol before he can be made to seek help for his problem. Try to talk to him and see what he feels about this.

Best wishes.
