Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
As per your case history of alopecia areata. My treatment advice is -
1. Use a good herbal hair oil and shampoo for routine use.
2. Apply a Tacrolimus 0.03% ointment on affected part.
3. Take an iron supplement and vitamin B12 supplement.
4. Other treatment options are oral steroid and Levamisole taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
