I haven t had a period in 9 months n have pcos n am overweight also I am 22 and the other day I bleed and a few hours later it was gone please help me do I have a blockage or something I need to no cause I want to conceive a baby in a few years and am really scared and worried also I no its not from the pcos because i have gotten periods before and was have irregular bleeding and not getting a period for months and have been on the pill and metformin and weight loss hy it stopped and why it hasn t arrived yet in 9 months is a mystery and I must no

Thanks for writing to us. I have gone through your query and would like to offer some suggestions. 1. PCOD responds very well to treatment, so be positive, more so since you are young. 2. Manage your weight, do regular exercise and eat healthy. 3. Get a sonogram of the pelvis, preferably in the trans-vaginal route to know the status of the pelvic organs. 4. The absence of the period could also be due to the pill. 5. tubal patency tests should be done since you are anxious to conceive before induction of ovulation is contemplated. Hope this helps.
