Suggest Treatment For An Enlarged Thyroid Nodule With Neck Pain And Headache
Hello, I had a rapid growth on my thyroid recently. Along with a lot of lymph node tenderness and pain. Joint pain and stiffness. Neck pain and headache started this weekend. Ultrasound confirmed large growth today. Results will not be back from ultrasound and labs until Thursday. Should I schedule a fine needle aspirate tomorrow? Does an endocrinologist perform FNAs or a surgeon?

Thyroid nodules and headache are not always related. However neck pan can be due to thyroid nodules and neck lymph nodes. Usually a pathologist does a thyroid nodule FNAC.
