Suggest Treatment For An Itchy Red Rash On The Hand
On vacation in Ft Myers and developed a bumpy red rash on back of both hands that is itchy. No sunburn anywhere - using good sunscreen and wearing hat. Took benedryl with no relief. Using same soaps and lotions I brought from home and have used for years.

I believe it can be related to insect bites. Use ice compresses to help the rash disappear and help relieve itching. Continue taking antihistamines such benadryl or citerizine. You can also use hydrocortisone cream.
