Suggest Treatment For An Orange Bump In The Navel Area

about 2.5 inches above my bellybutton, there s a hard solid dot that is invisible to the eye but can be felt when you push against it. If you brush your finger across the area gently, you can barely feel it. You have to push against it to feel it. It is as big as an orange seed and doesn t hurt when touched or grabbed (and by grab, it s not like I can grab and feel it all around or yank it out, it s like an orange seed thats sticking out of the ground) It s constantly there and it has been around for more than a few months (not sure when I discovered this or if it was there before). It doesn t feel like it s growing in size.

General Surgeon 's  Response
hi.

noted history of bump in the abdomen. it may be any of the following lesions: a fibroma (fibrous tissue formation), lipoma (fatty deposit) or a cystic formation. it is best if you consult with a doctor, preferably a general surgeon, for physical examination and clinical evaluation. management (medical and/or surgical) will be directed accordingly.

hope this helps.

good day!!
