Hello doctor. This is Imtiaz. I am suffering from androgenic alopecia over the last two years and doctors recommended me minoxidil 5% solutions for that. Now I am 25 and using minoxidil 5% for last 1 years. Improvement that I observed that is, my hair fall has been reduced but without any visible development in hair growth. And as per doctor my 50%hairs are damaged and will be fallen out within upcoming 2 years. At the same time there is no possibilities for hair regrowth on that areas because of absence of cells (on that particular area). I am confused with what is happening to me. Should I go with any homeopathic way or is there any other way??Please help me to get out of the problem.
1. Use a good herbal hair oil and shampoo for routine use. 2. Take an iron supplement and vitamin B12 supplement once daily for 3 months. 3. Apply Minoxidil 2 %solution twice daily on affected part. 4. Other treatment options are oral finasteride and mesotherapy done by a dermato-surgeon.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Harshit Bhachech
