Suggest Treatment For Anechoic Ovarian Cysts With Adnexal Mass

Hi, I am a 34 year old woman who has recently been diagnosed with having anechoic cysts. A few days ago I woke up with extreme lower abdominal pain and bloating which resulted in me being admitted to hospital. On examination a pelvic mass was felt. The USS showed a mass towards the right adnexa, two anechoic cysts and another mass in the left adnexa. A MRI scan has been booked to have a clearer view within the next two weeks. Although the pain has subsided and I have been discharged I am extremely worried about my condition. I have been diagnosed with PCOS in the past and have lived with varying symptoms such as, hirsutism, bloating, PMT and irregular periods. Please advise me on how my cysts and masses can be removed or how I can aid them disappearing naturally.

Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the various treatment and management options are available for ovarian cysts and adnexal masses as
@ Benign simple cysts of small size do resolve on their own which are usually physiologic in character
@ Larger simple cysts of around 5 cm or more may require hormone therapy for resolution in case of PCOS or certain times laparoscopic drilling
@ Complex cysts with multiple septations and anechoic structures usually require laparoscopic biopsy with cystectomy with or without oophorectomy
