Suggest Treatment For Anger Management And Confrontational Behavior

Hello. I have a 15year old GRANDAUGHTER here from Florida FIR the summer who is showing signs of DID. Or multiple personality disorder. She has severe anger issues . Very confrontational ... one m ok moment she is calm the next she s angry to the point of breaking things. I have read about this subject for many years and today I think I saw a personality change in front of me . Even her voice and body moments changed. She is on Lexapro 7.5 mg. And her counselor Thinks she has depression. I suspect DID. My question. What medications should I suggest her be taking ??? She was just seen by a psychiatrist. 2 weeks ago. But I feel he missed this diagnosis

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
By your history and description about your daughter's illness, I think possibility of Bipolar mood disorder is more.
She is showing extremes of mood swings. And this is classical of bipolar disorder.
So better to take her to psychiatrist again because this needs lithium tablets and it is prescribed drug only.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your daughter. Thanks.
I find this answer helpful
