Hello, Injured my left leg closer to ankles - it's warm to the touch, very swollen, has a dark spot, and hurts a little when walking. I have used ice packs and elevated it which helps, but wondering if it could be something more serious than a bruise. My email is YYYY@YYYY

Hi..
I suggest you to take an x-Ray to rule out any fracture.. Don't worry as I am not saying that you will have one...but it is always better to rule out... You took care of the injury well by icing and elevation.. I would also suggest you to keep it compressed by a compression bandage... Dark spot could be blood clot which will reduce as you keep icing... Reduce activity of your ankle..as it is warm, it indicates that there is active inflammation...keep icing it...
Hope this is helpful for you
Kindly revert back in caseyu need further clarification..
