Suggest Treatment For Ankle Pain

Hello, I have experience some level of pain at the ankle of my right foot. I try not to eat painkiller unless is unbearing pain cos pain killer is no good to health in long run. What can I cure the pain that I bear? I tried google and it stated that I have Achilles Tendonities, any medicine to cure? Any surgery needed? Hope to receive good advice from you. Thank you.

Hi,

What is the location of pain in ankle anterior, medial, lateral or posterior? And what is your age?

If pain is in posterior aspect of ankle and age is above 50 likely cause may be retrocalcaneal bursitis. If pain is in anterior aspect and old age likely cause may be joint arthritis. If pain is medial or lateral side with history of ankle twisting likely cause may be ankle sprain. If swelling and pain are on the lateral aspect with age past 40 likely cause may be lateral malleolar bursitis.

I need detail history as to the site of pain and age so that accurate diagnosis can be done.
