Suggest Treatment For Antithrombin Deficiency

I was diagnosed with antithrombin 3 deficiency at 17 (pregnancy) and my daughter was tested at birth for it - positive. It has not been expressed in her yet but she has debilitating menstrual cramps every month. The OBGYN wants to give her Depo Provera but requested hematology clearance. My hematologist says NO WAY! My daughter is 18 and away at college and needs to get established with a hematologist. My sister does not have it, but she does have an issue with her protein C. No risk for DVT. What should I advise my daughter to do or say?

Hematologist 's  Response
Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. Anti thrombin 3 and protein c both prevent coagulation in your body. Deficiency increase the risk of clotting and thrombosis. You can start aspirin or warferrin according to risk benifit ratio. Consult your haematologist and take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer.
