Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Friend has high anxiety. He laughs one minute and cries the next. Talks and bubbles on about things that are not normal. Example, how he loves his wife. How God talks to him. Tells my sister that she has to call mom every day at exactly 530. Can t carry a conversatio. He forgets what he s saying. Repeats Himself over and over and over again. Unable to work at a job he always loved. Doctor put him on sleeping pills and anti depressants. Now he still talks crazy but is happy. Writes himself a billion notes and puts a smiling face by his name and sad face next to mom s name. Poor mom is exhausted and doesn t know what to do. Dad sounds crazy.

I went through your details. From the details it seems that your friend could be suffering from uni-polar or bi-polar disorder. The hyper activity, smiling face, repetition, euphoria etc are exemplifying these. But need to diagnose properly with an experienced psychiatrist / psychologist. He certainly needs expert treatment. Consult a psychiatrist / psychologist soon.

Hello Welcome here. From the description which you have given here, i think your friend does not have just anxiety. Most probably he has either psychotic features or obsessive features. He might need antipsychotic drugs like olanzapine after a detailed evaluation by a psychiatrist.
Hope this helps.
