Suggest Treatment For Anxiety And Depression

I'm feeling anxious, depressed and questioning if I'm going crazy. I'll i want to do is sleep and life feels overwhelming and too much responsibility. I have been diagnosed with anxiety years ago and I'm wondering if this is a result of it progressing or getting worse?

Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

I can understand your concern. The symptoms like anxiousness, feeling as if you will go crazy, increased sleepiness etc could occur due to depressive disorder. Please visit your doctor again for re-evaluation. For depressive symptoms with tiredness, sleepiness medicines like SNRIs should help. Venlafaxine, Duloxetine etc are SNRI drugs that doesn't cause much sedation and help to control depressive symptoms. For persistent sleepiness get your thyroid hormone levels checked. Hypothyroidism can be the reason for these symptoms.

Please visit a psychiatrist for evaluation and prescription of these drugs.
