Hi Ahmad,

Sometimes after you take anxiety and depression medications for some time, the dose may need to be adjusted according to the improvements and remaining symptoms. The best way for you is to re-visit the psychiatrist who prescribed you the medicines and ask him/her to adjust the dosage or change the molecule. Sleep disturbances is sometimes a side effect of the medicines you are taking. It can also be cured with the medicine or dose adjustment.

You can also apply some tips for yourself to feel better and getting off these medicines faster.

Try to exercise regularly. Exercise will release endorphins in your body and they will help to relieve anxiety and depression.

Join yoga or meditation class to learn exercises that can help you to calm yourself and reduce anxiety.

Make new friends and make plans with friends or relatives. Give some time for your hobby. Talk with your loved ones.

I hope this information helps. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel better soon.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
