Hi
Welcome to HCM
From the presented information I can understand your major problems as
emotional instability, poor concentration, irritability, dysphoric mood.
These complaints are enough to suggest for presence of mental distress.
The conditions like
mood disorder, depressive disorder appear to be likely.
However, to establish a definite diagnosis one has to consider details regarding onset, progression, and the impact of symptoms on daily functioning.
The causes could be multiple, such as stresses from life related issues, interpersonal problems, financial and health related issues, etc. All these needs to be discussed with a
psychiatrist and one will need to learn various coping strategies to deal with it through psychotherapies.
If a patient having symptom profile similar to you comes to my clinic, I would advise a psychiatric consultation as a detailed work up of the symptoms and associated stresses is required.
Discus an addition of mood stabiliser and anti
anxiety drugs with the psychiatrist. a session of cognitive behavioural there's can be suggested.
welcome for further suggestions
