Suggest Treatment For Anxiety And Stress

Hiya, last night I went out, a few hours beforelleaving I had a vodka cocktail with two shots in it and I had another two shots before I left the house. while put I had a double shot of malibu and coke andhalf a glass of rose wine. I normally drink more than this so I felt really sober and normal when I went to bed however I ve woken up a few hours later feeling really ill. I can t stop violently shaking most of the time, I feel very sick and like there s something stuck in my throat, my stomach feels painful, and I have a really weird pressure sensation in my head (on top, left hand side). I m really confused what s going on as I ve never experienced this when drinking before and I really didn t drink much. I have a bit of anxiety so its really starting to stress me out and make me feel worst! thanks Annalise

Hello,

You had vodka cocktail with two shots in it. You also had wine and before leaving had another two shots. You were sober as you often drink more than that. After going to bed, you were sick and shaking violently. You have stomach pain and head hurts. Have a sensation of something sticking in your throat. Presently, you are suffering from anxiety and stress. You are suggested to take rest. Take adequate water, juice and soups.

Violent shaking after 5 hours of alcohol intake may be indicative of withdrawal symptoms in heavy drinkers. It can also be due to depletion of sodium and potassium in your electrolyte system. Low blood pressure or low blood glucose level are other factors that can cause such symptoms. You should take semi solid food like oats meal, porridge or custard. Take Pantoprazole, Pan-40, one SOS to get relief from acid reflux or gastritis that is causing you symptom of something sticking in your throat.

Take acetaminophen, one SOS when pain or discomfort on the head. Stay away from addictions if any. Take adequate rest and switch to solid diet after you feel better. Rest and home made balanced food will help you feel better. If symptoms linger, you should get clinically examined by a GP or health care provider, you may need urgent help.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
