Suggest Treatment For Anxiety, Depression And Headaches
I m 58, with depression, headaches, and increasing anxiety. I take Fioricet, Xanax and Trileptal for mental health. Lasix and high cholesterol meds. Otherwise healthy. the past two months I m experienced extremely racing heart beats to the point of almost passing out. I have to sit down carrying groceries to the car and the slightest exertion can cause me to have to stop until my heart rate slows. Not scheduled to see my internist for another 5 months. Is this something I should be concerned about?
It sounds like you are suffering quite a bit with what could be symptoms of anxiety or depression or other mental illness that keep you from enjoying life to the fullest and functioning at your best. I would first recommend that you go to a primary care physician to rule out any physical diagnosis that may be impacting your thoughts and moods, such as thyroid issues.
You have listed several symptoms, all of which could be diagnostic of a variety of issues. Depression and anxiety can be caused by many things, such as genetic makeup, traumatic experiences, negative thinking, and poor ability to cope with the stress of daily living.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
