General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Yes symptoms of anxiety can change.

Anxiety can present with a range of symptoms and they are can be disruptive and disabling to a person.

If your anxiety is affecting your ability to function then you should consider seeing someone for an assessment and treatment.
This would include counselling and medication.

You may not need to take medication long term, it would depend on the exact diagnosis and your response to treatment.

I hope this helps
