Suggest Treatment For Anxiety While Suffering From High BP
I feel anxious-anxiety like feeling. My blood pressure is up. My dr has increased my Meds twice. I am keeping track of it I also have reflux that is no longer being controlled by nexus ( I have been on nexus for 12 yrs) I follow the food restrictions for this condition very closely F my daily pressure for him. My daughter is out of work but is doing ok while looking for a job. I don t know is that is related to my anxiety or if something else could be going on
To me, you should: - monitor your blood pressure (BP), record the results for reference - run upper endoscopy to evaluate acid reflux and treat it adequately - run urine analysis, liver/kidney function test, abdominal ultrasound.
If nothing organic is found, should consult further with a psychologist for anxiety problems. But first, should rule out organic issues.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
