Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have discovered over the past 3 years that as I get older (68) I have developed an anxiety associated with claustrophobic conditions ( i.e. specifically riding in an airplane, a taxi , a limousine and a helicopter )...is there a medicine or drug that I can take ...say 30 minutes before I am going to fly or be an enclosed space...? In other words do doctors have a type of all around generic most often prescribed aid that they recommend or prescribe and if you can't give me any named drugs then no need to respond. Thanks for your specific answer.
