Hello! I am always anxious and worrying about absolutely everything. Things in my passed, whether i interacted politely with the last person i spoke to, whether im hurting peoples feelings etc. I am not malicious and always try to help people but because i'm always so worried i end up snapping at the people i love because my brain seems to get confused. I also worry that i havn't done things all the time, i always think i've deleted important files and cant stop worrying about it if im out when i havn't even looked at them that day.. and i feel like im going a bit insane. help!
Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.
You have mentioned the following main symptoms: - excessive worrying about trivial things - fear of something bad happening always - increased irritability
From the description of your symptoms, you are likely to be suffering from an anxiety disorder, probably a Generalised Anxiety Disorder. However a detailed history and psychological assessment is necessary to confirm the diagnosis.
Don't worry, there are effective treatment options - in the form of medication and psychotherapy, which will help you overcome your problems. Medication like SSRIs can be helpful in controlling these anxiety symptoms. Psychological therapy like CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) can be helpful in reducing a negative pattern of thinking . So, please consult a psychiatrist for further evaluation and treatment.
Wish you all the best.
