Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi,

I appreciate your concern for your sister. Having negative thoughts continuously and headache is suggestive of either a depressive disorder or anxiety disorder. In such conditions, the brain scans including MRI and other investigations are usually normal.

You should consult a psychiatrist in your city. After ascertaining the diagnosis, treatment with medications like escitalopram or paroxetine can be started which will help in controlling her symptoms.

I do hope that I was able to answer your query. Wishing your sister a speedy recovery.
