Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Yes, thank you. I m recovering from a fall. I was taking my normal medication of 20 mg Xaralto and 500g Gabapentin at dinner. Have been in pain and added a Tylenol w/codein and a 4mg tab of TIZANidine. Allof a sudden did not feel well. My mouth is like cotton, lost my appetite, startes sweating and am pretty warm all over. I m afraid I mixed too many things?
The sweating you are complaining comes from the usage of Tylenol with codeine that despite pain relief it gives sweating because otherwise, it's abilities against fever.
Also, Xarelto and gabapentin may cause loss of taste in the mouth as a side effect. Keep mouth hydrated use chewing gum.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka,
