Suggest Treatment For Arachnoid Cyst In The Temporal Lobe Area
Doctor my son have a small arachnoid cyst is seen in the right temporal polar region compressing the underlying medial temporal lobe which otherwise appear normal in signal intensity.it measure 2 x 1 cm in size.the right sylvian fissure is asymmetrically prominent as compared to the left side. we are taking medicines for last 1 yrs.now our doctors reduced the dosage..we got so much fear about my son..is it curable through medicine.please reply me.

As per my surgical experience, there is no medicinal cure so far as the arachnoid cyst is concerned.
He must be prescribed medications for associated ailments.
Draining fluid or excision of the cyst is the only measure to cure via expert neurosurgeon.
