Suggest Treatment For Artery Blockage In Heart Causing Chest Pain
Dear sir my mother is 75 years of age and weighting 48kg. She is having blockage in the arteries. She feels severe chest pain. While brushing also she feels chest pain.. Dr advised for angiography and angioplasty.. But my mother is afraid as she is very weak. Please advice as to what should we do now. Please. Sir I want your contact details.. Thanks.
I think you have to do angiography and angioplasty as doctor advised. Also, your mother has to follow a healthy lifestyle, a diet rich in fiber and low in lipids, quit smoking and do not drink alcohol.
Don't exercise just walking and take an appointment with your doctor. I can't give medication because I need to know more about her laboratory values.
Check her blood pressure and if symptoms persist and have difficulty breathing go to the emergency room.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Blerina Pasho, General & Family Physician
