General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Nocturnal cough is common with asthma and other allergies. Beta 2 agonist such as Salbutamol and inhaled cortico steroids should be taken. In case of severe breathlessness, nebulised salbutamol should be used. If symptoms still persist, cardiac asthma should be ruled out.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
