Hi,
Since you are a diagnosed case and under the supervision of your Attending Physician, thus following is my line of management:
1. Dry your feet thoroughly [between toes] after a bath with a cotton towel or with a hairdryer and avoid a high sugar diet and oily products
2. Wear cotton socks and if wearing shoes continuously then remove the insole of shoes to allow them to dry overnight and apply apple vinegar [open toed sandals are good options]
3. In Ayurveda I usually manage my patients on the line of ‘Dadru’ [kshudra kushtha:
a. To maintain the pH balance of your feet keep your feet in a solution of ‘swarjikshaar’ [baking soda] for 30 minutes daily
b. Other good anti perspirants are: tankan [boric acid], sphatika [alum],
aloe vera, apple cider vinegar, honey, garlic, B complex vitamins
c. Useful external topical applications are: maha marichyadi taila, tuvraka taila, jatyadi taila, dadrughana lepa while internally gandhaka rasayan, bakuchi, arogyavardhini vati, haridra khand, rasmanikya
d. Mix 10 gm of haldi [turmeric] in 100 ml neem oil and apply in between your toes [before bath]
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Munish Sood, Ayurveda Specialist
