Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Dear Sir we have been married 2 years ago now while trying for pregnancy we found that that my husband is having azoospermia. FSH is 20.39 Doctor says it s non obstructive azoospermia after having the report of his ultrasound. Now doctor is suggesting us for Fnac. Should we go for it?? is it safe?? What are the possible outcomes pls guide us
The non obstructive azoospermia indicates functional disturbances at spermatocyte and seminiferous tubules usually sertoli and leydig cells. FNAC or biopsy report of the testis is the must for the final diagnosis and possible hope of Intra uterine insemination technique to induce fertility and conception.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
