Hello there !
Curved spine or
Scoliosis is a condition where your spine shows a C shaped or an S shaped curve when observed from the back .
In a C shaped curve , the concave side muscles are shortened and weak , while the opposite side muscles are lengthened and weak.
Some curves are reversible , others are structural and cannot be reversed.
In either of the cases , the aim is to strengthen the paraspinal muscles , to help reverse the curve in the former case, or prevent worsening of the curve in the latter . If left untreated , it could cause symptoms similar to yours , due to undue pressure on the joints above and below the curve , including the pelvis , knees , and higher up in the shoulders , neck etc !
There are very specific exercises for scoliosis , which you physio will be able to guide you with .
you will need a full fledged back
rehabilitation program . In addition , your physio will also be able to tell you if you may need any kind of footwear modification .
Also , check your posture often . People generally tend to sit in a position which aggravates the curve , as that itself is the most comfortable position for them! check with your physio about workstation ergonomics .
Taping , pain relief modalities , and intense exercises will help you in this condition. Do seek a physio opinion . Tc.
