General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* The severe back pain post hysterectomy (if done under spinal anesthesia), can be related to local area ligament or muscle spasm.

In addition to analgesic medications, muscle relaxant as chlordiazepoxide and the local application of analgesic spray with diclofenac and menthol after applying heating pad will give much soothing results.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
