Suggest Treatment For Back Pain, Leg Pain And Tremors
Are there any ways to make withdrawal from Percocet any easier. I ve been taking them for 3 1/2 months after a back surgery. I have 51/2 pills left. I m taking half in the morning and at night - but this afternoon I needed to take half. I can t sleep, my legs really hurt and are shaky. Please, can you help? Thank you
Percocet is a combination of NSAID with opioid i.e.; Acetaminophen with Oxycodone. It is safe to use this drug. If you want to change, you can use Tramadol hydrochloride with Acetaminophen (Ultracet). You can take this as it's safe for liver and kidney. There is no addictive potential. Physical therapy would help strengthen your back muscles and reduces the use of pain medication.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
