Suggest Treatment For Back Pain Which Radiates To Chest
I was at the gym the other day and developed pain in my back very near my left shoulder blade the pain radiates to my chest just left of my sternum. There seems to be a knot in the area of my shoulder blade that my wife could feel when trying to rub the knot out. I have tried heat which helps, and Advil but I cant get rid of it. What can I do?
Hi,Welcome to healthcare magic. After going through your query in my opinion it is muscular pain as pain occurred after gym. Rest and analgesics(diclofenac/ ibuprofen) is its treatment. Sometimes vitamin D deficiency can cause this so serum vitamin D test is advised if it is low than vitamin D supplementation will be required. Avoid long continuous standing.Sit in a straight posture.Eat milk, fruits and green leafy vegetables daily. You need to done MRI TO RULE OUT other causes.I give local triamcilone injection to my such patients. Consulting with your treating doctor is advised. I think your query answered.
