Suggest Treatment For Backache After A Hip Replacement Operation
My wife hip replacement operation done on 2008 with MOM Dupey orthopedric implant. The chromium and cobalet lever increased 60 and 50 respectively the doctor advised for revised operation that was done on june 2013. now my wife is suffering from back pain kindly advise me what I should do?
It could be a prolapsed disc and subsequent nerve compression. As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedic and plan for an MRI scan.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
