Suggest Treatment For Bad Bruising On Upper Arm And Shoulder
My boyfriend is around 380-400 lbs. We were in an ATV accident last Saturday. He had very bad bruising in his upper right arm and shoulder. the swelling and bruising has gone from black to yellow and seems to be coming out in his armpit/chest area and moving down is lower arm and hand. He is running a fever all of a sudden. He went to the emergency room immediately after the accident. they did x-rays and a ct scan and found no broken bones and released him the following morning. His fever is 102.4. Is the fever related to the injury? He also refuses to take it easy and insists on working.
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
The symptoms of your boyfriend seem to be related to the injury from the accident. I suggest using an anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the symptoms. I also suggest using a vitamin K cream for local application at the bruised area.
Hope my answer was helpful.
If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.
Kind regards!
