Suggest Treatment For Bad Cough And Phlegm

Hi my son is 3 and half and has bad cough and phlegm ,I was giving ambrolyte s for three days but didn t see much improvement so I started antibiotic moxclav powder suspension starting today morn giving two times daily for five days 3ml ,he is 17 kg just want a sec opinion here

Hi welcome to the health care magic

Here your child can have viral bronchitis infection

Symptomatic management done for it

Your child Auscultation should be done first..
Ambroxol should be given only after discussion with pediatrician

If rhonchi heard from bronchitis in your child than bronchodilator needs to be given by nebulization

If symptoms not improves than antibiotic started

Take care

Consult pediatrician for examination
