Suggest Treatment For Balanitis Despite A Steroid And Antifungal Creams

Hi, my doctor diagnosed me with balanitis. I was given a steroid and anitfungal cream which did not help. I visited again and was told it would just need good hygiene. I have followed the doctor s advise but it has not helped. What should I do next? Is it safe for my partner to have sex while I have it?

Hi,
From history it seems that this problem might be due to yeast infection or bacterial infection due to non cleaning of smegma and its deposition.
Maintain of proper local hygiene is important.
Clean local part daily by averting fore skin while taking shower.
Apply triple action cream.
If require go for one course of oral anti-fungal and antibiotic medicine course.
Avoid sex as it might transmit to your partner through sex.
Ok and take care.
