Hi, I just was blowing my nose and actually noticed that I have a bend in the back inside of my nose, like really bent. I can push it back straight but it obviously won t stay. I have never broken my nose or anything and it doesn t hurt. What should I do?
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern after going through the description you have posted. What you are having is called 'deviated nasal septum' deformity. Many a times it does not cause any major health problems. Generally what people face with such deformity is repeated sinus and respiratory tract infections. Some of them would be having cosmetic issues. In either case, you need to undergo a minor operation called 'septoplasty' for the deformity to be corrected. For this, you need to consult ENT specialist, get examined and evaluated and then operated. It is an easily correctable deformity and hence you need not worry about it. All the best and wish you good health.
