Suggest Treatment For Benign Cervical Ectropion

Looking for 2nd opinion. Diagnosed with benign cervical ectropion through colopscopy done because of pap test showing some atypical cells, moderate to severe inflammation, elevated leucocytes, elevated coliform bacteria, staph aureus, gardnerella. Treated with cefalexin; itraconoazol/secnidazol; nifuratel/nistatine. Told by doctor that as soon as I finished all treatment I should do cryotherapy. The ectropion is asymptomatic but doctor says that because of it, and because of the climate (I live in cancun mexico) I will keep getting infections. I lam 49 years old and in a monogamous relationship with my husband of 10 years. I am wondering if it wouldn't be prudent to wait and see if the inflammation goes away with treatment; closely monitor myself for a while to check for recurring infections before the cryotherapy which sounds fairly drastic to me.
