Aspirated not : 03 cc haemorrhagic fluid aspirated. Microscopic examination:smears show plenty haemosiderin laden macrophages and few follicular epithelial cell in background of blood mixed colloid. No atypical cell is seen DX: Neck swelling (FNAC) :Compatible with bening cystic leasion suggestive of thyroglossal cyst.

Swellings in neck can be either followed up or removed. Thyroglossal cyst has got a higher chance to get infected and create problems. So it is always better to remove it.
