Suggest Treatment For Bilateral Fibroadenomas In Breast
Hi am 25 year old girl. I have bilateral fibroadenomas in both breast. There sizes are 10.8*6.8mm,16*8.3mm,23*17mm in right breast and 10.7*6.4mm,4.2*2.7mm in left breast. Also axillary lymphnodes are seen bilaterally... 15*5.5mm on right side and 16.6*5.5mm. Please give me suggestion
These are benign (non-cancerous) lumps and does not cause much problems. They are notorious for recurrence and can develop again even after surgical removal.
In your case the lumps are small and we can go for close follow up. If you experience pain or discomfort it can be removed. Consult a general surgeon and he will direct you accordingly.
