I am bipolar and have had difficulty staying calm and near normal. I have had some kidney problem though minor when on lithium. I cannot control mania without lithium. I have tried parietal etc. Nothing else works. Am taking 300mg lithium and also serial for psychosis. I do feel a lot better with these though my Dr. Wants me off lithium for the renal issue. I feel I have no choice for my condition. Please tell me it s ok. I don t drink or abuse drugs. Thanks
