Hello,
Well, I do not know where to start in your case quite honestly. Sometimes caring too much can also lead to harm. I suppose this is what had happened in your case.
I've come across many blogs claiming the use of vitamin E as an anti aging and for other cosmetic purposes. Although I'm unsure of the authenticity of the info provided I will just skip it as it is least likely connected to your current complaints.
I'm assuming that the other ointments were prescribed by a dermatologist for regular use. If not and if you have self medicated then that's where you have gone wrong.
Medisalic is generally used as a first line of treatment for acne patients. The aim here to unclog the pores and prevent bacterial growth. Medisalic has a known adverse or side effect of changing skin color.
The next one, Skinlite cream is a step ahead. It is a combination of quinone that can lighten the skin, mometasone that is kind of steroid and tretinoin topical which is the highest level in treating acne. It is always advised that after applying tretinoin one should not get exposed to sunlight as this can also lead to discoloration of the skin.
As you have already consulted a dermatologist there is no need for referral however, you have not mentioned the medications provided. Changing back the skin color under such circumstances can be difficult but with proper guidance and following regimen you should notice some improvement soon.
I find this answer helpful
