Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I've had this little black colored spot on my putter lower lip, it's not a bump just a change in color from the rest of my lip. It's been there for a while but hasn't grown or anything. I was wondering what this was and how I could fix it. I would appreciate your help it's really embarrassing.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain a small pigmented spot on lower lip can be an area of hyperpigmentation and it can be due to excessive production of Melanin pigments by Melanocytes that are pigment producing cells.. I would suggest you to start apply depigmenting creams containing Kojic acid, glycolic acid and arbutin.. You can also apply Vitamin E gel.. You can also exfoliate your lips twice a week using a mild scrub.. You can also make a natural easy scrub by sprinkling salt on half a lemon and rubbing on lips.. You should also prevent sun exposure and apply SPF 15 containing lipbalm.. You can also apply honey over lips.. In case of no resolution in 2 week consult a Dermatologist and get evaluated..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
